About Elden Crommer
Blue Collar back ground
After leaving high School in 1977, Elden went to work at one of the local saw mills for a year and a half, and then, in January 1979, headed up to the ‘oil fields’ of Northern Alberta and B.C, where he worked for the next four years. During this time, Elden earned his class one air brake license, ( which he still has), and numerous other certifications including Alberta - Class IV Steam Engineers ticket, (to operate boilers and pressure vessels), and certification in operation of heavy equipment .
Elden also lived and work in Prince George, B.C. for a full year, from May 1984 - June 1985, working for Northwood Pulp & Timber.

Likes and interests
Elden’s two passions - outside of work, are outdoor sports and activities and world travel.
Elden enjoys alpine skiing and Men’s recreational hockey during the winter months, and in the summer months, hiking, kayaking, cycling and golfing.
Traveling to foreign lands is Elden’s greatest interest. “….if I were to win a lottery, I would immediately take off to travel the world….” He has traveled extensively though Mexico and all of Central America, as well as a little bit in Europe,( both Eastern Europe and Western Europe) and also Mainland China and Hong Kong. Most interesting places visited so far ? New York city, New York; Budapest, Hungary; Panama City, Panama and Rotan Island, Honduras |
